MMA is a crazy sport. Who ever would have thought that Fabio would be the first fighter to drop Fedor from his feet?

Fedor had a great career but it is clear that he isn't at the top of his game anymore. This is a guy that went 10 years in between losing a single round (in between losing a round to Arona in 2000 and losing to Werdum) ...and he loses the 1st round to Maldonado. He went from being the most elusive and intelligence fighter to "swinging like a bum" as Chael put it.

Like I always say...you lose a little something in this sport and your time at the top can be over in an instant. We see it time after time.

Thanks Fedor for the awesome career

And he survive with a lot of heart and manage to win round 2 and 3.

respect for both fighters, Awesome show.

thats true,it never happened before...

His 36th win. Hope he can get to 40 before he retires.

yeap, in the god damn HW division while being smaller than most fighters it took him 16 fucking years and to become 40 years old with bad training to get dropped standing lol and he STILL came back to a draw / win

not a single round of hendo-shogun 1 was a 10-8 score, there are many more examples, point still stands
