All of the original cast is returning except Dewey. Muniz and Cranston will star in the 4 episode series and while I doubt it'll be any good compared to the original series, it's only 4 episodes so im in.

Dewey is the only one not coming back, so not a huge miss. I guess he is just retired and happy to be away from it all.

I think recasting him was a mistake though, just say he is off somewhere and move on.

They should have just turned him into a running gag of being in the scene but not on screen or saying he's upstairs or in another room as they talk to him.

Anything is better than recasting which never works.

I heard somewheres a long time ago that part of the reason francis was always away from the family during its run was because Cranston wanted to keep him away from the child actors

stuck with me because of how much i dug the show and the big brother moments when he came through like the clown fight (really killed a bit of my childhood)
