Why should he? Dana is handing him a title shot after a long stretch of inactivity and a win over Cerrone.

It's not officially a title shot yet. Dana still is trying to get Khabib back.

Conor is like proper 12, immature, overrated, and for the masses with little knowledge.

If Conor does get a belt for fighting Poirier, his next fight will be another boxing match.

Which means in maybe two years he will get the belt stripped from him again and we start all over again.

Welp.

He wanted to be very active in 2020 but Dana wouldnt let him due to having no crowds. So yes I guarantee he will aim for 2-4 fights in 2021.

Quoted for endless amusement at the end of 2021.

If he wins, yes, but he makes negotiations very difficult. If he loses no

I think this. He loses a lot of value with a loss and probably becomes too expensive for UFC. Otherwise I think he cashes in on the win and fights again late in the year.

If he has to fight a few times to get a championship fight, then he'll be more active in 2021. If he holds a belt, he won't be.

As soon as he wins the belt he's going to fight Pacquiao and use the belt like a promo tool like last time

I don’t think the UFC will be stupid enough to make the Dustin fight for the belt. Because if Conor wins.. forget about it. He will immediately chase a boxing match, or a trilogy at WW with Nate. Meanwhile holding up the LW division yet again.

Even his fans have to know that’s what would happen.

Its UFCs fault that their major stars have to do boxing for a decent pay day, hell he'll get paid more fighting youtubers. Pay your stars what they are worth and this issue doesn't exist.

If he loses to Poirier, he will demand an immediate rematch (actually a rubber match since this is already their second fight).

If he beats Poirier, he will spend the rest of year pursuing a boxing match.

Makes sense. I think the title will also be a factor here (if he wins).

If he wins the title we won’t see him again until 2023

Depends if some random dude will eat a fucking bat somewhere...
