Make a poll: Who thinks Hunt should get more money?

In the end of the day, "We The People" are the ones who sustain the sport, "We pay for it, "We" populate the internet with our talks ... "We" should have some say about it too.

so the question is simple:
Who think Hunt should get more money?

I the end it's in the UFC (new ownership) interest too, who would PPV fights of dubious legality? Follow events (allegedly) tainted by roids/PEDs?

It would give some sense of justice, but who gives a turd about it anyway ;)

------------
BTW i old times it was possible to start a poll, is there something I'm missing here?

I vote for Hunt getting more money, also based on the fact that he has been (allegedly) unjustly and illegally hurt.

Maybe Hunt could (in case of proven use of PEDs) even sue Lesnard in court ... could be interresting to see

I don't know what to say. Many forums have premium account system. But none of them prohibit their general audiences from making a poll.

Keeping the ability of making poll behind a paywall is ridiculous.

Immediate rematch with unique, "Solomon" rules is absolutely a must.

Added rules:
* No takedowns
* No punching
* 10 rounds

This is the only way to resolve this matter fairly.

If you know how to make a poll, be my guess, I don't see this option on my screen

I'm I favor of a contractual fine for the fighter who tested positive. That money should go to the opponent.
But he signed the contract as it is and I doubt he ever thought Brock was a clean fighter. I would not give him more money just because he says so.

My comment was not towards you but towards the admin of this forum. To make a poll on sherdog you have to have a premium A/c. It's one of the perk you get from having a premium a/c. Which none of the other forums ( Tech forums, Video game forums, Sports Forum etc ) I know enforce on their general audiences.

I didn't take it badly at all, just said that whoever (you too) could make me a favor starting this poll

If the UFC wasn't exhibition mma, sure. It's not a sport, it's a promotion, and Mark Hunt needs to understand he doesn't create PPVs like a hulking fake wrestler who doesn't get drug tested.

I am not a premium A/C holder. Premium A/C holders all have Green Colored forum ID.

He deserves something. When a fighter misses weight they have to give there opponent 20% of there purse, when a person gets caught for steroids which is 10x worse, it should go along with there suspension, that they have to give a portion of their purse to their opponent. But that's just this punks opinion.

If it turns out Brock was roiding, I think half of it sounds fair, considering his head is the one that had to feel the effects

MMA is a sport, UFC is a promotiom, sorry for the need of knowing the meaning of the words used.

UFC must also understand that people feel cheated by (allegedly) PEDed "athletes" making show like the WW*.

If supporters and PAYERS of the sport loose iinterest in the promotion (UFC) they could migrate to backyard fights (Kimbo Slice of old) of get totally fed up of it (promotion, in this case UFC).

Promotions should also understand that the day that the audience will judge UFC at WW* level, they will have paied 4000000000 $$$ for a bad copy of WW*

It's the punks who pay for all of it, included the value of 4000000000 $$$ payed for the promotion assets, CLIENTS ARE THE ASSET ;)

Unless there is legislation in place within the NSAC, or Zuffa, or specifically in a contract. I don't think you can just start dipping into a guy's purse. Even if he did cheat. Like they have provisions for not making weight. And unless it's proven that Zuffa knew before hand that he had been popped. They can't be held responsible either.

However, this does not prevent civil action from being undertaken by Hunt. It's America... He can sue who he wants.

If you're asking if I think there should be monetary penalties to the offender. With said penalty going to the other guy. Yes, I think that would be fair.

Admittedly I'm not up on the subject. I could be wrong. But I dont think they have those rules yet.

Eh give him some more
Money, why not. Doubt they will though. They'll probably just give him a few reebok t-shirts

Once I read a TUF contract, you actually hand your life over, end of story, you could have signed in blood with lucifer it would be the same.

You have no right, they have all.

It's not unheard of for a commission to surrender part of a fighter's purse to his/her opponent in cases of a fighter that didn't make the agreed upon weight. I don't see why it would be unreasonable to compensate an opponent with a portion of a violator's purse if he is proven to be under the effect of illicit substances. I also agree 100% that a commission has no place holding on to any of a fighter's money simply because they are the authority.
