Majority of Republicans support marijuana legalization for the first time

I personally don't care what someone chooses to smoke, but I wouldn't want my kid smoking it under 25, it makes you lazy and stupid.

Imagine if Nate Diaz didn't smoke? He'd be able to talk in complete sentences and wouldn't be unemployed.

"Several studies have linked marijuana use to increased risk for psychiatric disorders, including psychosis (schizophrenia), depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, but whether and to what extent it actually causes these conditions is not always easy to determine.32 The amount of drug used, the age at first use, and genetic vulnerability have all been shown to influence this relationship. The strongest evidence to date concerns links between marijuana use and substance use disorders and between marijuana use and psychiatric disorders in those with a preexisting genetic or other vulnerability.62"

inb4 ban sensei rambo aka sensei sonnen :) still defending the charlottesville driver?

This isn’t true you trjmp supporter.

Have a source? I think weed should be legal, but lets not pretend that its a miracle drug thats bullied by the medical community.

" Clinicians agree that cannabis use can cause acute adverse mental effects that mimic psychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Although there is good evidence to support this, the connections are complex and not fully understood."

" Epidemiological studies have shown that as the frequency of cannabis abuse increases, so does the risk for a psychotic disorder such as schizophrenia.1 Studies have also shown that cannabis is the most commonly abused drug among those diagnosed with bipolar disorder.1"

Our clinics policy for under 25 year old's is also pretty firm, we make exceptions for epileptics and those who have severe autism, cancer etc, but for generic inflammatory conditions, fibro, chronic pain, etc, you will more than likely be denied for the above mentioned reasons.

I’m fucking with you dude

But some people actually do have a condition it helps with. For example, I suffer from chronic sobrietate ornantes and, although there are a number of things that address it, marijauna has more benign side effects than most other methods of treatment.
which would be an argument of medicinal use, not recreational.

there are other plants with the same properties for inflammation
these people just want to get high
which is fine if they just say that

which is why the arguments starts where it starts, i want to do it and as long as i'm doing it to myself it's none of your business. anything else is bullshit

Proving once again that they have empty morals and are swayed by who makes the money.

no it wouldn't. that literally means chronic 'sobriety.' it was just some wordplay.

Some do, ppl always slip through the cracks.

Most other plants arent in high enough concentration of terpenes or flavanoids or cbd, although charlottes web is.
You also cant really get high on a high cbd high linalool and beta myrcyne with very low thc strain. Not unless you take a lot of it, which would be pointless in terms of spending.

Oils also last longer in the system. So finding a high cbd oil with things like linalool and beta myrcyne is a good thing.
Low amounts of thc also keep cbd2 receptor activated, and with other terpenes and flavanoids you get the entourage effect.

Its quite wondrous what this plant does medicinally, but i will admit we get a fair amount of people who are crazy or act crazy if their appointment gets rescheduled. The clinic i work at specifically sees about 800 to 1000 people a month.

Its a rewarding job but stressful with the crazies.

i hate the public. years in the er and icu will do that to a guy.
there's no reason for people to not get meds, but these people don't need meds. it's why their argument is so tiring. you know what? you're right. legal medical weed but life sentences for anyone using weed recreationally. deal?

And yes it's open abused by people with BPD, cannabis is frequently used by many people to self medicate. I use it to help me sleep, not to mention it helps with depression and anxiety.

I'll never understand the "cannabis makes people lazy" argument as well, it makes me active as fuck mentally and physically.

Lazy stupid Nate made a few million in his last fight & should make over 10 mil easy for his trilogy fight. Imagine the dangerous pharmaceutical opioids or street drugs he could get hooked on if he wasn't smart enough to keep it natural.

So your argument is a claim that cannabis is dangerous?

I would reject that claim as a weak propaganda argument which is at best controversial, and at worst, fully-debunked. But let's say I grant you the point that cannabis may be dangerous? I say "So what?" Did you know that alcohol is dangerous? I mean really dangerous. Super-dangerous compared to cannabis. Not even close. True story.

Not gonna lie, as a demsocialist this is pretty much exactly what I want to do.
