yeah why are they not matching him up with someone higher?

taisumov is on a 4 fight win streak and is 5-1 in the ufc.

taisumov tko round 2 imo.
 
I'm ok with it, Lentz is a good wrestler and a good all-around tough fighter. If Mairbek starches him then no one can deny that he deserves a top 15, top 10 guy.
 
Ok matchup. Taisumov is a beast. I think he should get top 10 match up. Lentz should pose a problem though, tough chin and heart.
 
Really thought he was going to get someone like MJ, Iaquinta or Dariush, hell even Dunham. Oh well, hope he gets the win and then a top guy.
 
Shit matchup. Taisumov deserves someone in the top 15.

I guess it's a decent test for Mairbek considering the way his only UFC loss went but he deserves better.

I thought he was going to get Dunham. That would have been a much better matchup.
 

Why didn't they just remake the Taisumov/Dariush fight? Dariush pulled out of that fight, then lost, then just rebounded. It was good timing I thought.

Dangerous fight for Taisumov. A low ranked vet who could decision him after stalling the fight for his life.
 
It seems like the boring grinders of FW are being.matched up to get crushed and removed from relevancy. Outside of his matchup with Charles lentz is boring af and annoying.

Kawajiri isn't what he used to be, cub will take him out.

Ortega just wiped out guida.

All that's left is Elkins, Skelly was supposed to do it.
 
Boy they are really taking their time building up Taisumov. I thought for sure he'd get a top 15 matchup.

I guess I'll be fine with Lentz getting starched, but I really hope Lentz doesn't pull a surprise power Carny grinder like he did to Hacran Dias. I want Taisumov to go nowhere but up.
 
Well quite disappointing but I'm always up for Lentz catching a beating. Will watch.
 
I'm rooting for Mairbek but I see Lentz grinding him out
