So far after 5 events the underdog in the main event is 4-1

UFN 124 Stephens +130/ Choi -160
UFC 220 Miocic +145/ Ngannou -175
FOX 27 Souza -145/ Brunson +115
UFN 125 Machida +205/ Anders -280 (This is also the year to date biggest upset out of all odds thus far)
UFC 221 Romero +120/ Rockhold -150

All odds from oddshark

Stephens was the clear favorite going into the choi fight imo, other than that yes, underdogs are doing good

5dimes had Jacare closing as the +120 underdog.

With Stipe and Machida you have a point, the other ones were close and I even saw some sites had Luke and Yoel as favorites

Choi was the betting favorite. I made some money off Stephens, as underdog odds on him were too good to pass up.

Thats actually retarded, how was Choi the favorite coming off a loss, and stephens had fought way more recently and won? We shouldve seen that one coming

How is that possible? While Jacare broke his arm stuck it inside his black belt and beat Roger Gracie Brunson was competitive cheerleading. And Jacare had already KO'd him in the 1st round in Strikeforce. Craziest odds I've ever seen in MMA. And yeah, any degenerate gambler knows never bet on the main event. Both are proven killers. The underdog usually wins. Not just this year.

The one favorite that won too had some great value there. Jacare should have been like -400 knowing what we know now, and what we should have already known after the first Brunson fight.

Probably meant that a mixture of sites had both of them as slight favorites. A true pick me fight.

No Im saying that the odds were in Lukes favor but neither were +, the odds were -100 something on the same site for that. So you cant really call Yoel an underdog for odds that close

Bc odds aren't made by that logic
