So he dipped to boxing for that “big money” but got paid the same as Dana does him in UFC

He had like 1 or 2 sponsors for this bout, look at his shorts compared to Pauls. Unless those sponsors payed millions each I doubt he even got to 8 figures.

Why would money be the issue? I'm sure the UFC would've paid Diaz & Conor the right amount for that bout. If anything they're both on different paths in their careers, that's probably why it didn't occur. Conor was trying to capture gold against Khabib and his fights with Poirier to get a title shot. If it was money why would he take a paycut to fight Ferguson & Edwards? I don't believe it's the money, they were trying to get to the title.

That is just his purse for solely fighting, he helped promote the fight and whatnot, too, gets to get big paydays from sponsors he wouldn't be able to have in the UFC, etc. Fight payout isn't telling most of the story, in this case. I imagine he came out with a lot of dough here.
