lol damn what an early morning gift this rant was.You are entombing yourself in a partisan echo chamber if you can't step back, look at this, and realize how draconian this movement has become.
It's a game. You literally summon devils, demons, and other agents of evil, chaos, or destruction to your side in some decks. You cast enchantments that control creatures against their will. That's slavery. Now you can't do that? Cool, wipe those cards out. Hey, I noticed the cards where you "sacrifice" a creature still remain. Hmm, that's pretty Old Testament, isn't it?
It's insane because I remember when I was a kid the whackos were the crazy Christians. There were some kids in my town whose parents literally wouldn't let them play this card because it had "witchcraft". Some were Mormon, some were Pentecostal, some were just your garden variety non-denominational revivalists. Yet I don't recall any of them or their parents demanding that Wizards of the Coast not be allowed to exist, or demanding for the company to change its demonic business. They didn't seek to intimidate businesses or lawmakers. They simply didn't buy the cards.
This radical new left is vastly more toxic and intolerant than even the batty Christians of my youth. It blows my mind. The moderates and the mainstream leftists seem willing to make a deal with this devil, because they calculate they'll get them what it wants, but I don't think they're wisely exploring the full repercussions of this Faustian deal.
Going great with my tea.
Bro it's a trading card company trying to stay alive in a digital world with rapidly changing demographics relying on crazies like you to promote this absurdly insignificant news event.
