Say what you want about Brock, (i.e. can't strike, doesn't like to get hit, doesn't respond well to strikes, arrogant, etc.) but the dude only fights killers--while still being a relative novice in mma.

No real point to this thread, lol. Just saying--mad respect.

He's not a novice. And last time I checked, he wasn't able to fight no more, cuz of health problems that lead him to lose vs Reem and not be the fighter he once was.

He's in it for the money, which is great. But it is what it is.

id fight killers for what hes gettin paid.....

Yep. Guy never fought cans and said throw me in the deep end right away, I only want the best.

Guys can talk shit all they want but he never turned down a fight and fought the best of the best.

People said he had a bad chin and he still went up against Carwin who'd KO'd/TKO'd almost everyone he'd fought in the 1st round.

Who said he had a bad chin? He's taken heavy shots from Cain, Alistair, and Shane, and though he's been stunned, I don't think he's ever been rocked, and he certainly has never come close to being knocked out.

Please point me to the fighters who do it for the love of the game and don't want the money.

Read some of the 100 threads that are currently going on now and back when he was fighting.

Lesnar has always had a great chin, he just didn't react well to being hit.

i'm just glad now the Conner threads will go away for a while

Its been 5 years though, i'm wondering what he's been able to improve during that time.

If Brock manage to take down Hunt, I don't see how Hunt get back up tbh...

He doesn't need the money, WWE is paying him a boatload of money for working part time. He's fighting to prove he's a fighter, I respek that.

Also respek that he doesn't pick and choose his opponents, willing to fight anyone they offer him.

Dude was an active fighter for about 4 years. A good amount of time was spent getting ready for specific opponents, as opposed to working on certain skills, as you would when you only fight cans at the beginning of your career. Furthermore, a significant amount of time was spent recovering from diverticulitis. He relied heavily on his freakish physical gifts and wrestling background, but other than that, his skills were pretty raw. Reminiscent of a novice.

Also, he's making very good money in pro wrestling. I highly doubt he's coming back for 1 fight just for money. Some people like to compete.
