I think the best part of all of this is that Macron is literally the kind of guy the Alt-Right claim to want.

That's not entirely accurate, but yes, I understand these tools, I'm a low-level grey hat hacker. You sound like one of those people who whines, "Even morons can carry out a DDoS attack." You ever been on the TPB? There's loads of adults out there who can't even figure out how to fucking overwrite an .exe file to a program path. Even a "child" has to build a botnet.

Russia is the source of many of these tools (although nobody's gonna bore themselves with their kid shit now that the CIA's tools are out there). The fact that you would even mention the original Guccifer just demonstrates that you have no material understanding of what is going on here. The techniques used by Guccifer were radically different than the actual hacking tools applied by Guccifer 2.0. I weary of expounding on this. I urge any who are genuinely curious to pour through these quite exhaustive analyses. The "sloppy hacktivist" narrative had already collapsed last summer:

It wasn't just fake emails, from what I read they spammed the spear-phishers with a bunch of fake logins and names.
