Canelo would KO her with his left hand. There isn't a single MMA fighter with hands like Canelo.

If there was they'd be boxing for $40 million a fight.

You can say McGregor held his own against Floyd. He survived 10 rounds against an over the hill mayweather.
 
She definitely has hands that are similar to Canelo's, antaomically speaking.

Looks good, her striking has actually looked better at times in her last few fights, but the real battle in her fights is the wrestling, I hope for her she's improving that. There's this weird thing about a lot of women fighters, they only go for trip or toss takedowns, I guess the trips work wonders for a lot of Sambo fighters, but if I were in the coaches I'd make a point on working single and double legs, they seem easier to learn and less situational.

yeah but her wrestling isnt very good. so she needs to work on that way more imo
she shoots a lot but cant get ladies on their backs, kinda like me in college

her striking is ok but she really shouldnt turn into one of those BJJ experts who fall in love with their hands and become bad kickboxers. her strength is her BJJ, if i were her coaches id try to train her in such a way that she can always wind up fighting in her area of strength whenever she is able.

Got to add that a lot of times, the striking isn't good enough to close the distance. Hoping that improved striking by Dern will afford her a lot more takedown opportunities.

To be fair I think she probably is working on the takedowns and on closing the distance, she has a camp and they must know it's the way to go. Maybe she just isn't talented enough in that compared to the rest of the roster.
 
No way her striking is going to be significantly elevated within a few months. We are likely going to see more of the same as last time.

Too bad she keeps those hands in her pockets when she faces a competent striker with power.
