There was a college basketball player a few years ago that played for Xavier who drove for Uber. I think he did it because he was bored and enjoyed talking to people.

As for this story, if it’s true I bet it’s a case of her just wanting to get her gas money paid if she’s driving in the same direction. Every person should sign up for Uber Eats or Door Dash and just pick up orders that are going to the same place or direction you’d otherwise be going to anyway.

Imagine if she was just getting done with a workout and turned the app on, got a ping to pick up and deliver something in the exact direction she was headed she decided to do it. No big deal. I doubt she’s embarrassed if a fan saw her and it could lead to an endorsement deal with Door Dash
