I submitted my usual doordash order for a couple of hot, steamed buns from the Korean place down the street.

After an hour of waiting I had not seen any buns, so I asked why my order wasn't delivered and they said my tip was too small!.

I explained the tip would get bigger after the buns arrived. They then asked if I was going to give their driver the shaft and I assured them if she was not satisfied with the size of my tip I'd give her all I have.

I'm probably wrong but this might be due to her visa issues where you need to maintain a regular job or something, Alex Perira said his sister has to do doordash to maintain her visa even she doesn't have a fight scheduled when he was criticised for not financially supporting her.

Yes you are wrong she was born in America why the fuck would she need a Visa to work in the country she was born in?

Do the math chief. $200K minus taxes probably leaves her with $125K. Subtract 10% each for manager and coaching fees, now she’s down to $85K. She probably also has training camp expenses that she was gonna pay out of her purse. So it’s very probable that she got to pocket only about $50-$60K. I know she has at least 1 kid and she’s a single mom, so that’s very expensive as well. And she likely has debts, credit card, mortgage, car payments, etc. When you add it all together she’s probably living comfortably BUT living paycheck to paycheck. This is the reality for much of America’s middle class btw. People don’t realize that even the high level ufc fighters need to fight 3X a year just to earn a six figure net income, forgot the gross income, that’s always misleading.

Dern has had some bad luck in life with her ex husband and ex coach, guess it wouldn't surprise me if financial troubles are there as well, but as was pointed out, she just made $200k in January. You're either blowing it irresponsibly, or you have some contracts/deals that are fucking you beyond repair.

Even after taxes, coaches, etc, if you can't make ~$90k last 4 months, you're doing something wrong.
Those delivery apps don't give health insurance do they?

Sounds like what I made delivering pizzas for Hungry Howies 20 years ago (Friday and Saturday nights only).

What was the minimum delivery pay 9 years ago? I noticed the demand went up right after the Covid quarantine. I'd see these drivers at Burger King picking up $6 orders to deliver to some lazy-ass.

I order food when I've been drinking. That delivery fee is preferable to thousands of dollars in fines and a night in jail.
