This could be a fun fight.
I got current Machida by decision.
I know he lost to the top 3 MW's.
Which isn't a bad thing but isn't good either, showing he's a level below them atm.
I think he beats anyone outside that.
Bisping was calling for a title shot after beating Silva, someone who hasn't won at MW for 4 years,so this one actually be a step up,if Machida beats Hendo that is...

Who do you see winning?

Bisping by decision, probably would be close but he would throw more volume and out point Machida.

If we mean the machida that fought weidman and moussasi, I would definitely favor him. Bispings kicks are nothing special and he would only be able to hit machida if he cuts him off and gets him to the cage. Does Bisping have high level ring cutting ability? Anderson could have gotten off the cage but chose not to against Bisping

lol are people still butthurt about this?

Truth is Anderson Silva gave that fight away. He was more concerned about not killing Bisping as well as pleasing the fans then he was following a gameplan and outlanding Bispings pitter-patter strikes. Its unfortunate that it played out like this so yea, many are definitely butthurt haha. Bisping managed to follow the perfect gameplan but it's pretty clear who is the better fighter

I was impressed with Mikes boxing against Andy. If this is a standup contest ill take Machida

If you make the decision not to do everything you can to win a fight, that makes you a shitty fighter. Discipline and consistency are as important as any other skill.

Well Bisping was winning the 3 rounds up until he made a very stupid mistake (even getting a couple of knockdowns), but I agree. It was Andersons to take at several points in the fight.

Agreed. Obviously it is hard to accept the outcome of that fight as a Silva fan but it has been long known that he does things that one could consider "poor fight IQ". This fight is a great example of effective gameplanning vs. crowd pleasing

Hard fight to pick. It could go either way really.

If Bisping where to show up like he did against Anderson, as in confident and fired up, he could really bring the fight to Machida.

If Bisping beats Machida then I don't want to see Lyoto fight ever again.

That being said, Andralasterone finished Bisping and should have gotten that win.

Machida would knock The Count straight the hell out. Bisping would be on his back looking up at the lights. It would be the H-bomb all over again, except Machida would end it with a head kick.

Battle of the gatekeepers. It would be a close one but I'd say Bisping is gifted a decision.
