He was having a good bit of success standing in front of Diaz and he probably thought 'if I push the pace on him, he'll fold' which the complete opposite happened.

The thing I thought he'd do a lot more of is going for body shots. That oblique kick he landed a couple of times - one of which made it look like Diaz' leg was made of elastic. And he landed a hard shot to the body, all of which Diaz didn't try and defend or expected it looked like.

So you are saying that shot did not severely jolt his head. That it doesn't look like a knockout shot? Bahahahahaha!

But upon closer inspection you may be right about hitting the chin. More on the jaw. But it obviously connects hard enough to cause that head snapping effect that would drop most fighters.
