On sunday his contract is done and the UFC seems to be sold, will he renew or not?

It would suck if he left, speaking as a Canadian who lives in B.C. It is very possible that if he loses, the UFC won't come with the money he wants, I'd say if he wins, safe bet he stays, if he loses, shit could happen.

Bellator has some openings...

Also, I hear that Ben Askren thinks that he's the best WW in the world...

If the UFC doesnt pay him he will leave. This isnt the same Rory whos willing to go to war for decent pay for the thrill. He has a baby on the way, got bills and baby shit tah pay.

his gfs hot ^^^

also, I hope rory beats the shit out of wonderboy. training with raymond daniels this last month and a half, maybe even longer then that his chances are even greater. rory is going to merk him. and i frickin love me some wonderboy but this situation rory is in im hoping he mauls wonderboy and gets the contract he deserves.

The UFC sold or unsold is still the biggest highest paying org (for top fighterz) in the world no matter who ownz them. Most likely any sale will be for a portion of the UFC similar to the 10% they sold to Flash Entertainment in 2010... so it will be business as usual.

Rory could persuade other orgs to give him one or 2 good paydayz that maybe the UFC won't match, but in the long run it addz up better by staying in the UFC.

He'z made about 150,000 per fight since 2014... (not counting sponsorship or undisclosed pay) & getting a title shot & becoming champion will result in even bigger pay dayz.

This being the last fight on the contract is crucial! He losez & his pay remainz the same... but if he winz... he can go for those quarter mill paydayz with a piece of the PPV for championship fights.

That's not even talking about the credibility of fighting the top fighterz in the business... which other orgz can't match.

Rory will get the next title shot (assuming he beats Thompson) and they'll throw all the money at him to make it happen, because Lawler vs MacDonald III is a fight people will pay for.

The question isn't 'will Rory leave the UFC', the question is will the UFC pony up some real fucking money for a top competitor in their organization whose title contention last year was considered the fight of the year. In which Rory got his whole shit broke, and gave one of the greatest offerings the Just Bleed God has ever seen. Just to get paid peanuts.

I love Wonderboy, but I have to root for Rory this weekend. If he wins, he's in a much better position to get paid.

Hey UFC,

PAY THE MAN!!!

They should at-least cover the costs of maintaining his artificial nose

Rory staying will depend on the outcomes of both his and Lawler's fights. If Rory and Lawler both win Maia would probably be next in line and Rory might leave (it would be hard to sell Lawler-Rory 3 at this time). If Woodley and Rory win then Rory probably gets the shot (he already has a win over Woodley). If Thomson wins he gets the next shot against either Lawler or Woodley.

If he whips Wonderboy and then leaves, LOL, that's really going to put the UFC in a tough spot.
