I think they are trying to hype Anders. Giving Machida a fight to win is like giving Sage the worst fighter on the rooster

Anders is a legit A-level athlete who bodied a tough experienced vet that went the distance with the champ in his debut on short notice. That’s all I really know.

Anders is an aggressive southpaw with good body shots and "killer instinct". Also seems to have good cardio for a guy of his size. Unbeaten record.

I don't know..machida actually looked pretty decent against Brunson until he got koed. He was moving well and landed a few good shots. If he's smart and careful enough he could get it done but his chin might not be the anymore

Watching Machida just makes me sad at this point. Hopefully we'll see a good fight. If he can't beat Anders, who didn't exactly look like a world beater in his last fight, then I think it's time to hang it up. After the Brunson fight I think it's safe to say he should only fight other old school fighters like Vitor, Shogun, etc.

It reminded me of Liddell vs Franklin. Looked pretty good offensively, then eats one shot due to declining reflexes and gets put out because of declining chin.
