Whose better this is a tight 1.

Tarantino had a dope run of films, res. dogs, KB 1 & 2 pulp fiction, JB but fell off hard afterwards besides hateful eight.

Lynch more original but some of his later films, especially Inland empire nearly impenetrable.

QT by a mile. If I had to pick one all time GOAT film it would be Pulp Fiction. RD, KBs, IB and DU are all superb, easily 8s or better. JB and H8 are in the 6-7 range. DP and OUATIH are not very good.

I'd like to see a QT version of Elephant Man.

The thing that strikes when I chew on this is that despite the overabundance of horrible people in his movies doing the most horrible things to each other he can imagine, nothing Quentin has ever done has upset & haunted me anywhere close to what Lynch did with a nationally syndicated television show that aired in primetime in the 90's.

Lynch will fuck you up. He just hits so much harder than Q.

Not a tight race at all; Tarantino by whatever he wants.

Lynch reaches higher peaks of innovation, especially Lost highway, Mulholland drive, and TPs. Jury for me is still out on inland empire, watched it once, got lost, will watch it again 1 day.

For those new to Lynch, Lost Highway and Mulholland drive such haunting films. Would Suggest you understand Lost Highway completely and if you got the theme of Lost Highway down you can understand Mulholland drive easier.

TPs super awesome idea, like the Matrix but before the Matrix but only way deeper and move original.

I am a fan of both. QT is a lot of send ups and throw backs, very stylish dialogue. Lynch is supremely unique and haunting

You've just got a good eye, a lot of Lynch's work is lost on the average person that doesn't perceive things on that level it's like trying to tiggle a tortoises through its shell with a feather.......

Poll added for you, bud.

I don’t mean for this to be a cop out, but they’re just so different I really can’t decide. I’m a huge fan of both, and both directors’ films are very rewatchable but for different reasons.

tarantino shot his wad early, the dialogue that enchanted everyone became so pleased with itself films like the hateful 8 were simply buried in smart arsed diatribes

I like David Lynch but Tarantino's movies are far more enjoyable to me

Tarantino

Poll not public
Bizarrely I didn’t seem to have the option to make votes visible when I created the poll, like I normally would.
@Slobodan did I miss something when creating the poll?

Looks like votes don't display to public by default, weird.

Yeah that’s what I saw too. Just making sure it wasn’t a “me” problem lol. Thanks!
