One of the better countdowns Ive seen. This is an incredible match up and I think Luke takes this..dont know how though..Romero scares me.

I liked it. I did, however, find it odd how rockhold and Hooft kept insisting that rockhold was only in Florida because of the lack of training partners at AKA (injuries). Then, a few minutes later, Rockhold is talking about how he needed this change because he was losing his passion for the sport.

He didn't say he was losing passion for the sport he said he was losing his hunger and was becoming too comfortable.

Maybe he will train at both places from now on like GSP with Jacksons and Tri Star..although GSP did transition to Tri Star full time. He did mention about getting out of his comfort zone to shake things up. DC is going to retire soon and Cain is injury prone and who knows how much longer he's going to be around. Pretty smart for Luke to start testing the waters and Henri Hooft is a great addition.
 
I thought it was a good show. This is a great fight. Think Luke takes it. Possibly a stoppage in the 3rd/4th round.
 
Branch wobbled Rockhold. I am concerned Romero will take his entire head off. TBH though I want this fight to go to the ground, just to see what the fuck happens.

Hendri Hooft sippin the whiskey @ Luke's in there as well

Also found Curtis Blaydes to be a likable person and thought he has a nice girl watching over his diet. Dude is big af too and could get on people's radar with a victory over a seasoned Mark Hunt

And how about ROMERO flipping over all those Cuban guys in a row.. Dude is just a fucking beast
 
Does romero have enough gas to find Rocksalt's chin. That is the question that will be answered.
 
Rockhold has better kicks and is a monster if he gets on top. Yoel definitely has that Woodley style 0 - 100 lightning quick ko power that is second to none. I think Rockhold takes it via submission after he reverses a Yoel takedown.
 
Romero isn't even training for technique & neither is he doing much cardio, if he wins Luke is meh.

Good point. However, one could make the argument that his complacency at AKA was working as a detriment to his passion for the sport, thus him making the move to Florida. But I see what you are saying .
 
They also said the move to south florida was to free him of distractions...

I think Luke has a more well-rounded game but worried about that chin and his shaky defense against someone who bangs like Romero.
