I honestly believe Rockhold could make a comeback but needs to start at a lower level this time around. Fight 1 or 2 randoms at LHW and get his ass back fulltime to AKA. These sparring videos with Hooft make you question if anyone in that gym is aware of the fact Luke got KO'd couple of times. At this point though it really begs the question if you can teach an old dog new tricks. I dont know if AKA can salvage those bad defensive fundementals.

His ego seems way too inflated to settle on coming back for a borderline top 10-15 guy

One of my faves but guy is just way too self obsessed with himself and his skills. Definitely a solid “bloke” though. If he approached fighting with a reasonable head on his shoulders he’d be the greatest mw ever. You can tell he saw bisping as his son. People say bisping took his soul but knockouts happen in fights. Luke literally daddyd him. Played with him like how an Italian dad plays with his kid when he gets out of line. Literally one arm guillotined him like a dad trying not to hurt his child and ofc bisping taps to that. I think he was pretty embarrassed by it which is why he didn’t tap against GSP probably.

but that’s also Luke’s issue. As much as he daddied him the first time around he took him very lightly like he was fighting his amateur son which bisping is not. Bisping is damn good and has been fighting from a very young age.

But you tell me what’s worse. Losing by a good 1-2 ko or losing by tapping to a dadhold. I rest my case.
