Cormier somehow amazes me more than Jones. so durable, tough and always bringing it. it's hard to imagine someone with such an enormous size and reach disadvantage against the likely GOAT of our sport at his very peak, making it a tough fight and stealing a round. WAR DC GODDAMMIT

I agree. DC's talent seems under appreciated with the way people talk about how Jones is gonna walk thru him. He can win this fight. But even if he doesn't, who else is beating him? His success across two weight classes is PNP greatness at the biggest weights in the sport. I'd venture that he has as good if not better a chance of capturing the HW title at present.

yeah I'd favor him over Stipe. and if he beats Jones, considering his fighting record, that would put him as one of the very greats at this sport (if not there already, I mean he only lost to jones lol).

I think a lot of fans see his bad trash talk and personality as weaknesses. he doesn't look the part most of the time. a little too rational for the fighting game when he speaks.
