Ludwig Post fight speech at UFN 3

Just watched the fight where Ludwig KOs Goulet, and Ludwig jokingly says " Hey I want to thank some sponsors... just kidding Dana White". Both him and Joe Rogan have an awkward laugh after it. Anyone know If Dana prohibited fighters from thanking sponsors back in the day?

The first thing fighters did back in ufc30-ufc50 was thank there sponsors....completely ignoring any questions in post fight speach.

the "rules" are constantly changing. they probably let them know what is cool and what is not at the fighter's meeting before each event.

i remember luke cummo trying to sneak "serra luongo fight team" in his post fight interview after the TUF 2 finale, and they cut the audio on that!
