Luckiest Fighter In UFC

Ronda without question. Imagine being the first of something and being hailed as something great... sleeping with the boss can take you places.

Probably aldo.

Had a carry over belt and looked great against low tier competition and smaller guys and then started getting knocked out when guys his size came along. Also he was lucky not to get stopped in round 5 vs hominick, flagrantly held the cage when he kneed mendes, beat an injured Zombie, and won a questionable decision over Frankie Edgar.

Alvarez, 2-1 in the UFC, 2 wins by split decision, get a title shot in the stackest division in the sport, without facing the 2 big contenders being tony and khabib.

Face RDA who had a terrible weight cut and get the lucky punch win. RDA beat up Alvarez 9 times out of 10 ....

this is absurd

Brock Lesnar because he lost his fight in the UFC then he won the second fight then he fought for the Title in the third fight and won it what a lucky Guy Lesnar is

I like the people using this as a thread to moan about losses that make them feel insecure or to shit on fighters who achieved success that they don't agree with.

Sherdog once again proving they don't understand the meaning of words like "luck" or "fluke".

I like the Steve Jennum answer, though. One of the more hilarious footnotes from the UFC's history.

Nobody..

It takes hard work...dedication and self belief to make to the UFC.. They are no accidents...some just make the most of there opportunities

As life is defined by opportunities the ones you take and the ones you miss

So in these cases the winner intended for their opponent to knock themselves out... Makes sense.

Oops, I guess a few out of several thousand fights changes everything. Makes sense

Good on you for seeing that. Sometimes a persons ego can get in the way of the nuances in a discussion.
