I'm having a hard time believing that the AD let alone the players would have been in agreement to this. This has all kinds of wrong written on it and where to start? I'm sure many more details will come out soon but would you as a player not want to keep playing if offered another bid to say the NIT? Personally I believe that the best way to get better is to face competition in real games. This is a complete joke and the coach should be fired immediately unless there's something more serious going on and he can't suit up 6-8 players then I digress.

Team has mentally checked out, if you call it quits might as well let someone else who still has some fight in them go in your place.

Probably because Simmons told them he's done and getting ready for the draft.

A buddy of mine actually thought they were playing so poorly against TAM that the game may have been a fix lol.
I didn't watch it, but he said it was the worst basketball he's seen played at the D1 level.

Gotta do more than just land big recruits.....after you land them, you have to coach them.

It's very disappointing.

You think Simmons said fuck it I'm out? It's not going to hurt his draft stock because he's gonna go 1 or 2 no matter. Just doesn't seem right, this whole thing

Word on the streets here in KY is that Simmons was a lock to come to UK but he refused to commit to going to class and keeping good grades. Part of me thinks that's respectable.
