Worse -- dislocated his shoulder. He'll probably never be the same.

Edit: Just checked his record. He has not won a fight since then. Most shoulder injuries are permanent.

He didn’t step back and signal to the ref for Conor to stand up. He tried for a choke and Conor scrambled out.

Mendes took the fight on short notice, it was the second round and the fight had gone at a pretty solid pace. He took a calculated risk and went for the finish to try and secure the win since going 5 rounds on short notice is not advantageous. It didn’t work out.

Once you do that, the font stays the same for what ever one writes.

He was going to get finished standing if he didn’t shoot. at least if he gets a takedown there’s a possibility of holding nate down for a bit (a small chance, but still)
