Low IQ moments

Not part of a fight, but this is the lowest IQ thing I've seen from a UFC fighter in the octagon.

No. He clearly states in a later interview that he wanted to be the first man to submit Mir. Had he just hit him a couple of more times, the ref would have stopped the fight.

Watch the fight again. He is hitting Mir and trying to finish, then he is warned repeatedly by the ref, causing him to change tactics.

All he had to do was stand up and walk away (ala Mark Hunt) and he wins. He said, his words not mine, that he wanted to be the first to submit Mir.

I disagree with Anderson/Weidman.

Anderson was baiting Weidman to stop wrestling and start striking using a technique that worked succesfully many times in his career. It backfired, but there was method behind it.

One of many examples was posted by TC.

Strange that non existent shots to the back of the head were an issue there but actual shot to the back of the head by Hendo against Fedor weren't.

Who was that female kickboxer who took down a girl whose only real skill was submission after piecing her up only to get submitted straight away? Think it was 2nd last card.

Khabib jumping over the cage has to be the dumbest thing any fighter has ever done

Weidman’s spin kick because he was hurting Rockhold to the body with his kicks, gaining momentum and likely would have made Rockhold wilt not much later.

Instead, he took an incredible, career altering beating that took away his confidence and his ability to absorb damage.

From an undefeated champion that beat Silva twice, Machida and Vitor, to damage goods with one awful decision.

Let's assume he doesn't make that mistake and beats Luke.
I don't believe he beats Yoel and Moose just because he beat Luke too.
Weidman's competition improved after Silva.

Arguably the lowest fight IQ of any UFC fighter:

This was my number 1. Wtf were you doing Melvin beating Diaz and then shooting like a idiot.
2. Robbie getting walked down by Woodley and trying to counter when the blueprint to beating Woodley is pressure and making him fight off his backfoot.

I am the last guy to claim fights are fixed. But that fight felt off to me
Same, that fight was too suspect.
Didn’t help that mods here deleted everyone’s post saying how fishy or weird it looked right afterwords....

Melvin made a bunch of poor decisions in his MMA career, should of / could of been so much better.

Conor throwing a dolly at a bus has to be the dumbest thing a fighter has ever done
you can also add : invading a media day to attack a fighter, jumping over a cage to attack a ref and an official, grabbing and smashing some fan's phone, attacking a middle aged man in a pub... list is endless.

Just recently Davi Ramos trying to goad Tsarukyan to try and punch him only to get head kicked lol.

1. Every time a lesser wrestler jumps for a guillotine

2. Every time a non-range fighter-fights at range against a wheelhouse range striker for 2 rounds before they change tactics

3. Every time a fighter blows their wad to force a 1st round finish, see above # 1

4. Every time a fighter enters the cage without leg kick defense - against a leg kicker

5. Every time a UFC journeyman chooses to climb the rankings with no feints, no developed jab/ leg kick and no head movement

6. When a fighter moves camp and the new coaches stop developing the fighter's talents to be more rounded into that gym system.. and the fighter doesn't leave

This happens every card
