Low IQ moments

Lmao at Kelvin barely getting out of a bad position and sub attempt just to voluntarily go back to the same position <Lmaoo>

Chaels look up after the miss is priceless "I's sorry"

It was vs Nate Marquardt. Glad Nate capitalized on that. Arrogant move by Paul.
Second fuck up was vs Dan Miller. Paul won that fight anyway, but still could’ve paid for his low iq move.

thanks dude. I remember both moments clearly but couldn’t place who was in which fight.

yeah- that Nate Marquardt situation was satisfying, Palhares was really not showing Nate respect and it was hilarious watching Nate pound his face for it.

he over extended, but he was totally exhausted and there's no way anyone could have predicted an elbow to come from that angle. this is not low fight iq.
He was winning the fight though iirc. No reason to press forward like that with 2 seconds left.

Why would you slam yourself into a tighter choke? Not much options but better you wall him against the cage and limit his ability to arch & wrench the neck instead of giving him ease and position comfort where the choke is strongest on his back.

Weidman’s spin kick because he was hurting Rockhold to the body with his kicks, gaining momentum and likely would have made Rockhold wilt not much later.

Instead, he took an incredible, career altering beating that took away his confidence and his ability to absorb damage.

From an undefeated champion that beat Silva twice, Machida and Vitor, to damage goods with one awful decision.

Has there ever been a fighter so stupid that the ref would have grounds to stop the fight for "not intelligently defending himself" as soon as the opening bell rings ?

He had an excuse, the ref kept telling him not to hit the back of the head so he switched tactics.
No. He clearly states in a later interview that he wanted to be the first man to submit Mir. Had he just hit him a couple of more times, the ref would have stopped the fight.

That's what I was going to say. He was pounding him out but was told (incorrectly IMO, those shots weren't really the back of the head, we've seen much worse) and then ooops, a half conscious Frank Mir is still a VERY dangerous submission guy.
