How can people be complaining about this fight, yes Aldo deserves it, Frankie can make a case for a title shot as well, but the Connor and Diaz styles match very well.

Probably going to be a stand up fight with both guys unloading and Connor with thirst for revenge, bad mouthing each other before during and after the fight.

Screw Aldo and Frankie for the time being I say.

I'm only happy because it's a big payday and another win for Nate. Other than that this rematch is a joke and embarrassing. UFC rematching a non title fight because the person they wanted to win the first time lost

It does not make any sense, it shows that the UFC and Conor have not learned a thing.

Disagree.

As much as I'll enjoy watching Conor get his shit pushed in again, the fight is pointless for anyone other than Nate and Conor who will rake in more $$$.

Nate's a journeyman, and beating him doesn't mean much. Conor is a hypejob, and losing to Nate again will put a stamp on it.

Nothing to see really, just 2 dudes looking for another big payday while the gettin's good... and a bunch of fanboys and muppets eating it up....

This is a money play, it makes no sense... but it's gonna be entertaining. McGregor can try to win the McGregor belt back from Nate. Because that's the only belt the UFC seems to care about.

I'm really interested to hear the press conferences now. I was looking forward to hearing how Conor talks himself up in his next fight and now that it's Nate, even more so. He's probably going to sound ridiculous because I doubt he gives Nate any credit and he'll talk himself up like we didn't just see him get beat down.

It would make more sense for it to be at 155. I'd be much happier with that, but whatever. I just want to see cool fights, and this is one of them

Nate needs to make it @ 155 ,60/40 split, that way when Conor gets his ass beat HE HAS TO RUN to 145 and has zero excuses.

This shit right here.

Fight fans: "omg, what kind of stacked card are we going to be watching?"

Dana: "that Hansel is so hot right now...were going
TMZ 200 BABYYYY"

It'll be interesting to me because he won't e able to use his weight as an excuse this time around

It's a bullshit matchup

I'm not buying 200 if that's on the card

Expand on this. This is the business of prize fighting and the last fight was the most profitable fight in UFC history. How do you not see this fight making a fuck load of money?

I'm not saying the fight makes any sense for the weight divisions. I'm saying they can sell it easy.

We've already seen it, though. Conor got smoked by Diaz under the most favorable conditions possible.

Are we all just going to make believe that he won't get subbed in the FIRST round by full camp Diaz?

Bounce off the yacht Diaz throttled him. Diaz' boxing is comparable at worst and his chin, length and sub game just make this fight way less interesting, and I would argue less 'sellable' than a number of other Conor match ups.

Conor vs Cowboy would be more interesting. Conor vs Pettis. Conor vs Sanchez. That's not even mentioning fights in his own damned weight class. You know, the division where he holds the belt?
