All you hating shertards want to close the book on McGregor's legacy in the sport with 1 loss at the age of 27? He was never good? He got exposed? He is done? He can only beat midgets?
Need I remind you that the great GSP himself got KTFO by a 5'6 Matt Serra around the same age as when Conor lost to Diaz? What did the loss do to GSP's career? Turned him into a monster. A wet blanket monster, but a monster non the less.
All I'm trying to get at is lets see where Conor's career goes from here before we talk a bunch of shit. Losing for the first time in the UFC against Nate Diaz is nothing to be ashamed of especially with how the first round went. Every fighter in MMA makes mistakes and loses a fight. It will also happen to Jon Jones.
You can bet your ass that Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz II will show some of the most technical, and gorgeous striking display from both fighters. The fight will look much different with Conor fighting like his usual self. Light on the feet and picking his shots. I can even see Conor breaking Nates leg with a side kick. We saw how Nate buckled after the first one. What if Conor stuck with that instead of spamming spinning heel kicks like its a video game? What if he didnt just plod forward, winging over hands and uppercuts? Like they say, the knockout comes when you simply stop looking for it. You are crazy if you think Conor will make the same mistake twice.
Conor vs Nate is a must. Conor knows this. He needs to beat Diaz and prove it was a fluke. His career is riding on this fight. So you can bet he will come in the best shape he ever has.
I dont know where I was going with this rant, but WAR CONOR!
And no...Im not leaving sherdog.
