Losing to Izzy: Whittaker= ok, Costa= not acceptable

Sherdoggers tend to look past skill and pay more attention to beach muscles, thus they favoured Costa.

Izzy owned that octagon and emasculated Costa.

Izzy made Whittaker (arguably one of the most well rounded fighters in the sport) look like a complete amateur that has no business in fighting. but it was ok
Costa's first lost after 13 win streak all tkos= hes bad.

Costa was undefeated and lost his first fight against a undefeated all time great champion and it’s crazy the amount of hate he’s getting
the narrative that Paulo “had no heart”, “didn’t take the fight seriously”, or “was scared” is a massive insult to both fighters. It makes Paulo look like a chump when, though inexperienced, is fighting at an elite level. It also downplays Izzy’s skills and cheapens his victory because it looks like he got lucky. The fact that Dana and so much of MMA media is running with that makes my blood boil.

Costa has already demonstrated a ton of heart and a great durability, This is a guy that just swangs and bangs with the toughest guys in his division (Romero).

Still my boi! Looking forward to Costa 2.0.
Natty GOAT bless
Rob’s had a few brilliant victories since his loss that have helped shift public opinion… Costa hasn’t fought yet. If he he completely demolishes Marvin and looks brilliant doing it, you’ll slowly start to see the narrative around him change

All you need to do is look at the effort during the respective fights, and you wouldn't feel the need to make baseless arguments

End of thread. Usually you don't get shit on here if you go out and fight and attempt to win. People respect that whether you win or lose. When you go out and talk and act like an idiot or you don't even try to win and then you lose, you get a lot of crap.
