This was a fun, entertaining movie that captured the 1970's atmosphere and vibe perfectly! I've never been interested in skatebioarding but I love the type of 1970's rock and metal that fills the soundtrack. I found myself caring about the kids who were trying to become stars in the world of skateboarding and rooting for some of them. Overall I really liked it! Heath Ledger sure had a "different" role! Slightly reminiscent of the personality of "jeff Spiccolli" but more competent and serious than Spiccoli.

Is there a remake of this? I feel like I’ve seen it but not really. Or maybe that was surfers . . . Lol fuck idk.

If you liked the movie you should check out the documentary that inspired it. Especially if you liked the soundtrack.

I've been skateboarding for over 20 years and it's one of my biggest passions so I'm biased, but I actually preferred the documentary to the movie.

The documentary is great, the movie is good
Camt go wrong with either and if you like one, you'll probably like em both

one of my favorite novies.

as mentioned, the documentary is also great.

Yea I'm not into skateboarding or any of that either. Watched the movie though and really enjoyed it.
