Why is all evidence of Cody's gay hookup scrubbed from Sherdog? What are they trying to hide?
What?

If jones was just up front about who he is like these messages and not try to be fake nice humble guy, i'd probably be a fan.
Hahaha Jon with the foreshadowing.Jones always posts some quality stuff
Fair enough but for every "22 year old" jon jones, there's a good guy as well. It is not hard to do but all you have to do is listen to the guy talk for 5 minutes and you will realize he is pretty screwed in the head. Money doesn't "change" people, it just magnifies who you really are.People choose their role models.
I don't know where this thing came from, but no way is this shit still true in 2018 that athletes are role models. CAN they be? Yes. But they are not by default role models, and it's ridiculous to act as if they are. They can represent whatever they want. They are just playing a game.
If they want to represent the martial arts and respect, great, if they want to represent "Just bleed" great..if they want to take the Conor 'money' route..that's also great. But the idea that a guy that plays baseball or a boxer is automatically someone people should look up to is absurd.
I do get why the jesus stuff bugs people, and he is a hypocrite on that. But believing in god doesn't mean you are an angel. I'm sure he believes in god. But in fairness, he is in a very unique situation. Dude was in the limelight from like 22. He's considered the best fighter on the planet. It would have been great if he took that in and was humble about it, but I also am not surprised he went the route he did.
I imagine it's hard to stay out of trouble when everybody wants to party with you.
You say that but look at how he responded to the healthy girl.... looks like he was pretty upset that she wasn't a fan. But in all fairness, jon is right, he is washed in the blood of jesus, so, fuck all the haters!I'm sure Jon is so upset you aren't his fan.
Get the fuck outta here
No... probably, I didn't. You are right, trolls are bad and murderers are a close second.Or maybe calling trolls "the absolute scum of the Earth" was hyperbole and not meant to be taken 100% literally?
Ahh... you didn't think about that, now, did you?
Do you mean support as in "rafters" or "trusses"?I hope all the drug attic's out there on the streets can get clean one day. There's not enough support for them and it's truly sad.
"Cheese Sauce" Christ? But he can do all things through Christ.
Naive much? You are at the "top of the world" and hold the keys in your hands but "wait, what's this? Some girl is insulting me? 'Someone like me' will let her have it!"I know this is getting off topic, talking about word definitons and all, but I feel the defintion of the word triggered is to get angry, upset, or offended over something and then responding to it.
When I think of someone triggered, Mark Hunt responses to fans that he should relax about his Brock hate comes to mind, Dana White answering a question from Ariel Helwani comes to mind...this with Jon? No.
If a Sherdogger called me a moron, and then I came across an old thread where that guy posted his picture, and then I began to roast him--that doesn't mean I was 'triggered'.
If I asked for the guy's address and then proceeded to follow the guy around in every thread trying to pick a fight, then i'd be triggered.
Seeing how Jon is in interviews and around people, I don't think he gets upset easy. He looked at that girls pic and was like "lol hold up...this fat slob is talking shit about ME? HER?" And then he roasted her.
I'm sure he was not upset by this. He thought it was ridiculous, clowned her, and then went about his day.
I don't know if there is an "emoji" or something for sarcasm. Clearly, my humor was lost in translation.Maybe it was an exaggeration.
I'm still not sure why you took such an exception to it, unless you consider yourself a troll.
Can’t disagree with that.Who cares if he's a professional athlete? What does that matter? He's a human.
He breathes and shits like we all do.
I don't understand why people try to put athletes on pedestals. They're not usually known for their brains.
The word "triggered" is so overused. Simply responding to someone counts as being "triggered " on this board. Clowning someone on twitter does not automatically make you "triggered"
I guarantee Jon was at home, smoking a joint, reading messages ,was bored, saw that message from that chick, and just started clowning her.
Was it professional? Nope. But so what? He's a fighter, not a professor.
She got what she asked for
What’s the real story....^ this.

A good guy in Jones' situations?Fair enough but for every "22 year old" jon jones, there's a good guy as well. It is not hard to do but all you have to do is listen to the guy talk for 5 minutes and you will realize he is pretty screwed in the head. As for the athlete/role model conundrum, it is something that all athletes must understand when they reach this level. You don't get to say,"I dunk a ball so fuck everyone". There are a lot of hardcore players and athletes who don't make the cut because they can't control their own lives. Every once in a while, promotions will take a chance with "fringe" players but then you end up with pac man jones, Johnny Manziel and jon jones, just to name a few.
No argument there. Can’t disagree with that.
He still fucked his reputation by taking roids though.
That doesn't seem to be good in my eyes. Stupid people can still have good hearts. Spewing hate under the guise of being a "troll" is something that shouldn't be tolerated or met with patience. My two cents.
