I mean Theodorou is a professional mma fighter so he probably knows what he is doing, but still outside of his ground and clinch game ( which he didn't use much ) i can't pick up anything about his fighting game that isn't what a street bum on crack would do in a mma fight. Still he menage to go on a winning streak ufc carrer and i belive he even cracked the top 10 one time.

I know you guys are just probably post his gifs here but im serious, did he do something very special that i can't see as just a mma fan?

He stunned his opponents with his otherworldly good looks. Also, no camp had a guy who could imitate Theodoru's style, so he was hard to prepare for. Where can you find a fighter to do a showtime kick to the thigh off the cage?

His entire fighting style was as atrocious to watch as it was effective for opponents of him.

I tought i was too, don't get me wrong he was super boring, but still i just wanted to watch him to see where he could go doing that shit
For sure, I was no fan by any means, but cutting fighters for being boring isn't fair imo... The whole concept of putting your life on the line in a fight is so not boring than anyone considered "boring" should get a pass, unless results suggest they aren't good enough, which wasn't the case with Elias... I'm glad he got a TKO win in his first win post UFC.

Was a bad cut imo.
Sometimes i wonder if he was that effective because he was so "different" he clearly knows how to defend himself so he could do that silly stuff where a person with no fight training couldn't without getting ko'd. I belive it is the surprise element, fighters train to fight against other fighters and although there is unortodox fighters they usually trow punches/kicks that are at least close to the "correct technique" but what it happens when they have to fight against someone who isn't going to do anything you have learned about fighting? I think his opponents were legit schoked and didn't know what to do

Nothing special at all. The confusion is believing in the myth that the UFC has the best fighters.

Fair take, though it's worth noting he's not completely skill-less... BJJ Blackbelt and Muay Thai Dark Blue Belt .

His only losses came to Brunson, Brad Tavares and Thiago Fucking Santos, and none of them finished him... Nothing to be ashamed of.
