Honestly I'm not sure how the profession (the non-reconstructive variety at least) hasn't collapsed now
that we can look at decades of unsuccessful or counter-productive alterations in an instant.
I'm convinced they're shown photoshopped pictures of "successful" surgeries done by the surgeon so they do it, it's botched, and they can either mentally spiral about how they've permanently ruined their face or gulp down the copium and pretend like they're in love with their new look.

The crime is the number of 30 year old women who are starting botox, assuming even the sign of the smallest line in their face, needs to be frozen out of existence. I am shocked at how common it is.

These young women have zero regard for their older selves and how starting the process of botox that early will ruin their facial elasticity and lead to 'frozen face' in a number of years. And then that leads them to more invasive plastic surgery to try and fix frozen face.
