I wish I could find avlegit doner kebab here in NYC. Nothing compares to the ones I ate in Berlin tho
khlav kalash & crab juice >
I love the doner. Doner pizza is also a thing of deliciousness.
I find doners a bit too greasy now but I'm going to miss the abundance and variety of the kebab shops this country offers. They're absolutely awesome, especially with sambal and garlic sauce.
With that said, if you're basing this on UK kebabs only then I can understand. I moved to the UK from Germany and was stunned at the downturn in kebab quality
Kebabs here are shit I'm afraid.
Even ones from Greek restaurants. They're not popular enough so the meat is rarely ever freshly made.
I worked in a busy popular local kebab shop back when a teenager.

I don't think I'd like doner pizzas because well, doner. But Turkish pizzas again with sambal, garlic sauce, coriander and loads of salad every once in a while are heaven. My local shop does them fresh, he even makes the durum flatbreads fresh each morning.

I hadn't even heard of them till I moved to Holland 3 years ago. Man was I missing out.My Turkish neighbor surprises me with a bunch of homemade ones every once in a while. Her Turkish bread is stellar as well. God bless that woman.
I'm attempting a crab, corn and egg drop Chinese soup tonight when now I would sooner walk round the corner and buy a kebab or a Turkish pizza. Damn you, TS.My god, I would kill for some kebap right now. That sounds like a plan.
