Partridge is a big fan...

Wasn't it in a way good on a Friday night we'd stick the recorder on channel 4 and that was us sorted.

Apart from The League of Gentlmen. Because that was Frivety.

I been told its worse than Mogadishu these days.

Nice......
The fact we have to do our business in a bag, put it in a bag is horrid. I've given him so much sh*t in the last couple of years he's finally done it. Does it go off, or is it sat in a bag in a box on his desk till he FedExes it?

What lovely conversations we're all comfy with after all these year.

For visiting its not exactly the kind of place you just hang around it, too much bustle and a lot of it not very picturesque but it does have plenty of sites to see and there actually in quite a compact area with a better underground than most big cities in terms of being able to get to places fast with lots of crossing lines.

To just hang around and relax your probably getting off going to one of the more middle class sub centre towns its enveloped liked Greenwich or Richmond.

Wealthy London is nicer than wealthy NYC or LA. Mayfair was the nicest place I have been, and I would love to live there if based in the UK.

I will fight tooth and nail about this. What exactly did you dislike and what year?

I already had good english food, but I already had horrendous english food either

Las time I was in the UK I went to Stourbridge for work (absolute shithole) I disliked that in most places everything was super drenched in fat, not just english food, pizza, kebab, indian.... while on the coast in Kent I had delicious fish.

I'd rate London a 4

amazing buildings
amazing shops
not too many boise dimes, hell not even many boise 3's... most hot chicks are foreign or from foreign ancestry
too expensive
too many drill wankers, scumbags from all races and chavs once outside the city centre (really ruined it for us last time)

without the cunts i'd give it a 7

for mega cities it's a 5/10 for me dawg
aka average

I had a great time in London and I went by myself.

I wouldn't say it's the greatest place ever as it reminded me of many other big cities in a lot of respects. One thing that I found interesting was that the homeless people were friendlier than most other people on the streets. Maybe it's because when they asked for money and I replied they were curious about my accent and started chatting me up about the US.

I'm pretty impressed by the public transit there, especially the tube. You can literally get around anywhere on it and it usually always runs on time. The variety in the city was interesting... moving from Southwark to Oxford Circus to Kensington within a week brought a whole new experience each time. I particularly liked my time in Kensington/Notting HIll. It was busy but fairly quiet and within walking distance to Portobello and Hyde Park and wasn't completely overrun by tourists and transplants.

And Las Vegas is like heaven I take it.
The issue is some many people make blanket statements about cities based off of things they hear other people say or what they hear on the news.

People say the same shit about Chicago too.

Most of the time the people bagging on the city have never been there. Of course every big city is going to have it's issues; as much as I love living in San Diego, I could tell you several things that I don't like about it too.

Guess people have some weird standards.

It’s ok. A bit above average, but I didn’t enjoy the “vibe” of the city much. Too international feeling, so it gets lost to me. Less character other than some nice buildings here and there.

Agreed.

Best town for me in the UK is still Edingburgh. Really cozy town and they have really nice bars in old churches!

Best town in Europe and the world is still the great city of Prague for me. By far the most cultural city in the world.

When I was younger it was a 7, and it's still a 7.

London fucking sucks

One step below paris which is straight out of district 9

Went there in 2018 it was cool def take subways if you want to get anywhere

Never been to either of those. Would love to go to the Lake country area, or whatever it is called in the UK. Also to Prague. Looks like a cool place from the videos and pics I’ve seen.
