One of the most influential cities going back hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years.

I've been there once, 15 years ago or so. Lot of drunken memories that pretty much a blur. lol

For those who've been there, what's your thoughts?

No "Shit Hole" option?

Missed Opportunity.

But in all honesty - Never been - Would love to go.

I will say this about any city other than Madrid which I hated but y'all are such a bunch of old whiners. The majority have nothing to say that is anything positive.

After awhile all cities are the same more or less.

Still I love travelling and may actually do more overseas time in the coming years.

Haiti in Nov!

Haiti never been. Is it like Cuba?

Someone will chime in about the food when

2)Have tasted a Fray Bentos steak and piddley pie their cousin sent her from Hampshire
3) She forgot so sent mushy peas and Heinz baked beans

It was alright.

Food ok as long as its not English food.

Expensive.

Historic, peeps in the church's were nice.

Less Friendly than New York.

Southern manners stuck out.

Oh yeah, and British Teefs!

Thanks for the reminder: @fingercuffs

I will fight tooth and nail about this. What exactly did you dislike and what year?

It’s ok. A bit above average, but I didn’t enjoy the “vibe” of the city much. Too international feeling, so it gets lost to me. Less character other than some nice buildings here and there.

Only been 3 times, and for work, so my experience is based on that, and it was not just about leisure.

Prefer it to Paris and New York no question

@Golden Arms You are so lucky having S2 to watch.

Awwww, can you get Elon to fly me up to the meeting? it's only 6 hours...in a spaceship It'd be like Star Trek!

Ha!.

It was 2004. Spent a week or so there. I think we stayed at the Royal National Hotel (it was cheap and crowded with University and Exchange Students. Had good Italian, had Chinese,
