Lombard/Dollaway should have been a NC.

Shots were thrown in retaliation to a kick thrown by Dollaway. It was in the moment.

Similar to Rigondeaux a few fights back...

Cannot be putting a loss on someone's career because of an unfortunate event like that.

Lombard should appeal. Maybe they'll get heard the same day as Josh Emmett!

That's a terrible argument. Shots are always thrown in retaliation. What if Dolloway headkicked him after getting punched after the bell? Is that not retaliation? Where are you supposed to draw the line between retaliation and late? That's why we have a bell.

yea, i thought a nc might happen.

reffing is too inconsistent

the ref should jump in, just assume they are deaf like that dude who destroyed Jon Jones
Should be a win for Lombard IMO

Lombard knew what he was doing which is why he shrugged it off

Dude is dirty as they come mang

Time to cut him

No, a DQ was the correct call. GDR should have been DQed for her multiple shots after the bell in multiple rounds, or at least had points taken, but reffing is too inconsistent.

So by that logic, Dolloway should have also been able to retaliate to Lombard’s counter (given he didn’t get dropped by it), because it was still in the moment?

When does “the moment” end? How long can they continue to exchange after the bell and it still be considered in the moment?

Why is he so dirty? Is he known to be a dirty fighter or is it because of his PED use?

I hate when fighters go overboard to act out the DQ like Dolloway did.

One makes the company millions
The other no one cares about
Plenty of people care
tbh dont really care how much money he makes the company, its not like I'm getting a cut from it
I do care about the fights though

Another retaliation would have been even further past the bell, and a lot harder to justify in the heat of the moment. Plus by then the ref should have already been able to step in.
