Lol Conor was never going to fight at UFC 200

It's so obvious and you guys are eating it all up. After Conor got destroyed by Nate, Dana was never going to throw his cash cow into the slaughter house a second time just like he was never going to throw Ronda in with Holly again.

The best way to avoid the fight was to act like Conor wanted the rematch, and then have Dana come in and spoil the party by "not letting Conor train". That way, Dana looks like the bad guy and Conor like the victim and they can all move on from the whole thing and put Conor back against featherweights.

Thoughts? I feel like this is so obvious but many people are actually buying it and its crazy.
 
Lol yes lol you must be right lol connor didnt want a rematch lol so they booked the rematch and pulled him from the card lol. So obvious lol.
 
My thoughts on this... that they are a promotional company in the entertainment industry so I dont know

Yep seems pretty obvious. It seems to me they booked Nate vs Conor so they could create the 'interim' FTW bout between Aldo and Edgar in the hope that Aldo wins again so that Conor won't have to fight Edgar (clearly a nightmare style matchup).

Now the Nate fight is cancelled, thus saving Conor from another beatdown, but the Aldo Edgar fight remains, if Aldo wins again as expected this will all turn out exactly the way the UFC and Conor wanted it to....

The one monkey wrench in this supposed plan, Is Frankie beating Aldo.. I guess then the Conor retirement becomes permanent?
 
You're assuming the UFC would be willing to ruin their most important card and look like complete morons just to help Conor save face.

I don't see it.

Frankie is still a better match up than Nate. Conor's size and power could always put him away. Theres no way Conor is putting Nate away especially on a full camp.

Look it's clear that at least one of the following entities don't want the fight to happen:

-Conor or
-UFC

There's no way way around it. Make your pick. My personal opinion is it's the UFC because I don't believe Conor is "scared" of anyone.
