LOL at Yan trying to spook Cory

How did he manage not to flinch? That would be the instinctual reaction

Not if you actually train martial arts <Lmaoo>
If you train any boxing, muay thai, etc, training is so gruelling you develop a calm mindset and don't react to shit like this anymore.

He did the same thing to Faber. It was cringe back then as well

In a staredown you have to keep your cool and remember it's not about what you opponent does, it's about how you handle the situation. You are in control. If he hits you there will be repercussions on him, not you. Stay composed.

That's all well and good but that's not how the body reacts. It doesn't rationalize that much in a split second.

Besides, that's not very reassuring if he hits you and your jaw is broken or worse

Yes it does if you practice it. It takes years to build the ability to compose yourself like that. That's exactly why Sandhagen didn't flinch. He's a pro. And if he hits you and your jaw is broken the fight is off and it's his fault and everyone is pissed at him. Not you. He will face repercussions, not you. You were a professional and kept your cool.

Yo!

Homeboy didn't flinch?!?
You know what this means!

Bet the house on Sandhagen

just getting into the spirit of the halloween season. boo!

Yan does this like every 2nd staredown, most fighters are probably desensitized to this shit by now.

Somebody asked a question on a forum and I tried to answer. Not sure what the issue is here. Go find someone else to annoy scrub.

Keyword: "tried". The only thing you ever stared down was that basement dwelling mug of yours in the mirror.

Lol mhm whatever helps you sleep at night man! I don't care what you say or think lol to be fair, not a lot of people probably do either

That's dumb though. If you train you should react to quick movements on instinct even more. Keyboard warrior lmao

Plan beat instincts. Thats why these guys could train things like striking combo. Same thing if you are the target in combat practise: you can take those fake punches because you know you good.

You cant do fast drill like " a, b, c, d..". You plan it and execute
