It has now been made official and ready to begin volume production. From the looks it looks like it uses extensive advance materials to keep the weigh down to improve range and speed it is a nice design.

Yeah seeing Russia an China both have extensive hypersonic development programs. I would hate the US have their own hypersonic programs am I right comrade?

Not gonna happen when most of our best engineers & mathematicians are working in banking & finance instead of science & technology.

Also, Russia & China have much lower energy & labour costs so manufacturing costs will always be significantly lower for them. We're not going to be competitive with them on cost unless we put the factory somewhere in the TVA and automate it out the wazoo.
