Yall are pathetic. I even see some mods painting this narrative. The man just fought and won and people are saying "he's ducking top contenders" lmao you guys are so distraught it's hilarious.

Colby beat masvidal's ass. Outstruck him on the feet, had him rocked on the feet multiple times, landed a couple solid headkicks, elbowed masvidal repeatedly, and threatened with submissions. Yet apparently "all Colby did was hug" idk what fight you guys are watching, but I think you just let your hatred blind you from being objective. Its really sad and you guys need to get a grip. Claiming colby almost got knocked out, lmao you mean that 1 punch masvidal landed, where colbys knee barely buckled, he straightened back up immediately, smiled, and pressed forward again???

Colby embarrassed Masvidal on the feet and on the ground, and would do the same to most of the top 10. Stay salty you nerds. If Colby was from Nigeria or Dagestan you dweebs would love him.

Yeah, I don't get why people think this was a boring hugfest. If you want an example of an actual boring hugfest, rewatch Usman vs Masvidal 1. Utilising grappling to win a fight doesn't mean you're boring, and if you think that, then I've no idea why you're watching MMA. Sure, it's boring when guys just stall in one position, or don't really try to do anything other than hold on - but that's not at all what happened here. Colby was very active, constantly advancing position, throwing ground and pound, looking for submissions. This was not a boring fight.

colby's just not impressive. he struggled to take down a out of shape skinny fat journeyman masvidal for the first 2 rounds, probably would've gotten KO'd in the 3rd or whatever round that he got hurt in but flabby masvidal's got no cardio. he's just a product of WW being the weakest it's ever been can't wait for khamzat to take over. not a colby hater either was rooting for him against usman and jorge tonight.
