Wasn't the most entertaining fight ever but it wasn't boring. Colby's one of the best MMA wrestlers right now and that can always be appreciated.

Lots of exciting fighters win lots of decisions. Colby is rarely in a boring fight, unless you're actively rooting for him to lose. And this thread isnt discussing why hes disliked, it's why people are downplaying his abilities

I especially loved that one sequence where Colby threw 5 powerless strikes and then pushed Jorge into the cage for 2 minutes.

Or when he got that one takedown and then Jorge got up and then Colby took his back and kneed his thighs. So exciting.

I'm not a big fan of wrestlers and have called wrestling-dominant fighters boring in the past...

But I didn't find the fight boring, or think all he did was hug him.

He kept going for submission, nearly had it a couple of times, kept hitting him on the ground...
And, surprisingly, got the better of him on the feet too

Colby is overrated.
He only fought out of prime fighters abd avoided all prime fighters.
he refused to fight Leon Edwards and other fighters and cherry picked 40 years old Woodley.
Let's not forget that he avoided fresh young guys in their prime.
He beat woodley and got another title shot lol.
He got knocked out by Usman and won 1 fight against washed up Woodley and got another title fight.
He did every thing to avoid fighting upcoming top 6 fighters.

but he fought the current champion twice. he's not out of his prime and he's literally the champion. you act like Colby is a coward but in reality he's fought the best fighter in his division twice and done better than anyone else.
