Media LMAO @ how bad the HW division will look after Jon retires

Tom Aspinall in no way affects Jon Jones' legacy

I think he does, in the sense that so much has been made of Jons supposed ducking at this point that if he really does walk away its going to get brought up whenever Jons career is mentioned. But if he beats Tom it would be up there as one of his best wins.

At least I'd 2000 had 2 top tier HW. Right now there is only Tom

Jones has 1 HW fight so far

Him leaving is actually good news, we dont need him holding a division only to fight retired dudes, Unless you happy with these gimmick fights.

Maybe DC again, huh?

Come on.

Either Jones fights Tom or he can just retire
cant count huh Gane1 stripe 2....

If Jon can get past Aspinall he will have a nice open path to beat Stipe's record of HW defenses... Poatan included... on short notice... when someone else can't make their fight.

Thats true and I hadnt thought of that. Thats a pretty good legacy to shoot for and maybe it will motivate Jon to give us all the fight we want.

It's a bad division right now with Jones being the champion yet being unwilling to face any contenders in the division. He's just holding up any meaningful title fights from taking place.

The mercy of Aspinall's legacy? Dude's already lost and quit.

Tom Aspinall in no way affects Jon Jones' legacy, 99.99% of which was @ LHW and 100% of which is greater than any Tomfoolery.
No one is arguing that Aspinall will affect Jones' legacy at 205 pounds.

But Jones fans are trying to argue that beating Gane/Stipe somehow makes him the HW GOAT as well, and that's what I'm arguing is in question. Tom Aspinall can easily surpass Jones & Stipe by breaking the UFC HW title defense record. At that point, Jones will be remembered as the guy that ducked Aspinall.

It's good up to #6. After that, well we need new prospects

Take this boot in your ass, wake up, and smell the coffee. Aspinall has accomplished no such thing.

Jones' wins over Gane and Stipe = greater than anything Aspinall has ever done @ Heavyweight.

Gane was undefeated, until he lost a close decision to Ngannou. Aspinall has no win at heavyweight greater than Gane. Yet Jones destroyed him.

Sergei Pavlovich had already quit to Overeem in 1 round. Soft asses like you had Sergei overrated, but he was nothing. Proved again to be nothing against Tom, then again to Volkov.

Jones beating Ciryl Gane, then Stipe Miocic (UFC's greatest heavyweight ever), back-to-back, form greater accomplishments than anything Tom Aspinall has done (can or ever will do) at the shit show that is heavyweight today.

Face these facts, sit down, and shaddap about the lukewarm/mediocre record that is Tom Aspinall at heavyweight, compared to Jon Jones, let alone Jones' peerless record at LHW.

So you basically confirmed you're a smooth brained moron that is incapable of thinking about theoretical futures.

At no point did I say Aspinall HAS accomplished those things. I said he COULD accomplish those things. Clearly you are incapable of shifting your thinking perspective into a potential future in which Aspinall becomes the HW goat, and realize that Jon Jones at that point will be remembered for ducking Aspinall.

You should stop arguing on the internet. You probably have a grade 10 education at best.

No, you proved you are a mental-masturbator who argues pretend realities is if they're actual realities.

The actual reality is, Tom Aspinall has never beaten any Champion, is unproven, and NO WIN of his at heavyweight = Jon Jones' two wins over Gane and Stipe.

No, you ignorant simpleton fuck ... YOU don't have the basic honesty to sit down, shut up, and realize you have NO MATERIAL to talk about, when it comes to Tom Aspinall's "greatness" ... you just want to keep spewing theoretical, mental-masturbatory fantasies, and "he mays", rather than STFU.

Faced this fact: Tom Aspinall has achieved NOTHING GREAT in terms of UFC history. Nothing, nada, zilch.

Meanwhile, Jon Jones' name is forever in UFC history.

You should stop arguing on the internet. You probably have a grade 10 education at best.

You pale, sickly POS. I am a UCLA graduate and I am talking facts about Jon Jones, while you are talking 'hopeful theoretical whishes" about Aspinall, as if they are even in the same universe.

Nice job troll. All not waste another second of my time on your sickly, dishonest, punk ass.

What's the difference from when Jones wasn't fighting and then beat one guy and took forever for an irrelevant fight to finally be over with while that same also hadn't been around for multiple years?

He lost 4 times. 3 were in a weight class above (2 of those to champions, 1 of which was avenged) and his only loss at 125 was widely considered bullshit. And he's got a win over him too. Holding those losses against him with any kind of strong credibility would be ridiculous
Those were the only strong competition that he faced though
