She won the belt 5 months ago, got injured and everybody is calling her worst champ ever, that she is ducking Valentina and that UFC should strip her straight.

Let's see how other champs are currently doing:

Stipe: he's active in this thin division i will give him that (still gets almost no recognition on sherdog)

DC: also active

Whittaker: won belt in JULY, 9 months. got injured, no fight since then. Why nobody is crying that he should be stripped?

Woodley: last fight in JULY, injured since then. Don't see much crying about it neither.

Khabib just got the belt but he's planing first defense for november/december- that's in 7-8 months and he's not even injured. Where are threads calling him a ducker?

Just before that, Conor was not fighting for 1,5 year and defended both belts 0 times. Tony Ferguson before his fight with Lee for interim was not fighting for 1 year.

Max: is active AF and big respect to him as he's a rarity these days.

TJ: won belt in November, that's 6 months and he's not injured. Why no whine?

MM: Last fight in October, that's 7 months. Got injured. Why nobody is crying?


It's fucking lame to see all the whine about Montano not fighting after 5 months. I get that you love Saltchenko and apparently she's sherdog's WMMA GOAT who will destroy Nicco (destroy=decision most probably), but at least try to be fair.

I'm not a big WMMA fan, but i hope Nicco will wreck her. Valentina lost me when i saw her her surprised face after second fight with Nunez when she did nothing and was shocked that she lost and started to cry that she got robbed.

I'm starting to believe these threads about her being bashed is made either by Nicco herself or her family/manager. Nobody talked at all about her, then various defense threads popped up suddenly. I didn't even know her name a few weeks ago, just knew somebody with a bad record won a female TUF I didn't watch... So I guess the threads are working?
 
I've bitched about people bagging on GSP/Bisping holding up MW, when factually, Whittaker held up the division.

That said, fuck Montano and her irrelevant division.

Regardless of judging, Valentina fought too tentative in both fights against Amanda. Many of her fights remind me of Machida who had advantages but lost due to being timid. She should be more like the animal she was last time and trust her skills and athleticism.
 
To be fair, I don't believe most of us even knew who she was and when she won the belt until recently, I know I didn't.

Injured or not, I wouldn't hold my breath on her beating shevchenko. Nobody wants to see her stall for another 6 months to a year only to lose in a lop sided way.

It's kinda like seeing Micheal Bisping hold the belt years and claim he was the best when most of us normal Sherdogger knew it was all bull shit.

One thing I'm curious about. Why has it taken her 5 months to heal a fracture in her foot? It was already almost healed when she fought last right? She does seem to be dragging this thing out as long as possible.
 
I've watched UFC since the first event and I don't have a fucking clue who or what nicco montano is.
 
The butthurt in sherdog will be so amazing if Nicco beats Valentina.. can't wait.

All these fucking morons are blind, the UFC lazy matchmaking really made your minds into having Valentina as a wrecking machine, a monster who will kill Nicco when in fact she's a pillow fisted kickboxer who struggled against Kaufman and didn't finished a real can in Finney.
