There has been an established border crossing system for years. Placing a wall with turrets, cameras, alligators, barbed wire, and drones demonstrates fear of people that don't have even 75% of the offensive capabilities that you do. What are you so scared of?

Over the past three decades or so the Republican party has followed the same failed strategy - get elected to office by preaching fiscal responsibility, make a complete mess of things fiscally, and then, when a Democrat comes in to clean up the mess, blame them endlessly for not fixing it fast enough.

for some time, Shaq was living in Manhattan beach california. The area known as Manhattan village is for the most part, surrounded by a brick wall. The entrance is a fence. Same with an upscale area in Palos Verdes, a nearby city. They have a whole small city that cannot be accessed by normal folk. Sure, you can climb in, but the fact that you have to CLIMB, means that the barrier has served it's purpose.
