It's funny - Krystal and Kyle are nowhere near the most extreme on the left. There are far worse leftists out there - but they aren't even worth paying attention to.

I think what makes Krystal and Kyle such big targets for the right to ridicule is

1) They had more relevance to the normies, centrist, moderate center right, partly thanks to being platformed and promoted by Rogan who used to promote them as his main sources for news.

2). They used to be capable of nuanced takes and finding common ground with the right on some issues ie - opposing cancel mobs, identity politics gone crazy, etc. But in the past few years they turned into complete hyper partisan blue no matter who.

Add in that Kyle has strangely become way more childish as he's gotten older resorting to shit talking you'd expect from a high school or even middle school boy. He's in his mid to late 30s and looks like a member of Nsync of Backstreet Boys and acts like a teenager who thinks he's at the cool kids table. It's just so cringe seeing him act this way - gives you second hand embarrassment.

Kyle has both gotten more mature and more childish at the same time. he landed the "hot" chick and upgraded his entire persona/looks etc but it looks like a downgrade to me. and they both talk shop too much and form an internal marriage alliance that limits their thinking quite a bit.

still I find them both valuable once you know their limitations.
