I ask myself: Why is it so hard to find a candidate that actually wants to bring people together?

Thinking of living in Bangkok for a few years TBH, maybe rent my home here or let one of my kids have it for a while. On the other hand, living out here in the middle of the ocean feels very removed from all the acrimony that is sure to come.

The reason people like bannon says he is a traitor is because he went behind the back of the sitting president to secretly communicate (collude) with his counterpart in the Chinese military. During a time where the world was experiencing a pandemic created in a Chinese military bio lab, while the intel community and news is saying that is a crazy conspiracy theory, undermining the president. That alone is treason.

like in what sane world is someone who is clearly doing treasonous activity celebrated as a hero? The media is terrified, because If he is court martialed and treasonous activity exposed, it makes the media and the anti-Trump crowd look even more ridiculous and full of shit.

I have absolutely no problem with Trump going after actual scumbag traitors like Milley. I have zero tolerance for CCP nuthuggers in any administration and what Milley did (secret communication) is significantly worse than just being openly soft on the PRC. What i just don't like is cheering on that escalating spiral of revenge porn about political opponents that has been started by the media when Trump started running in 2016 when it's not necessary. I know it's not possible to just one sidedly stop doing that because it'll create a situation of asymmetrical political warfare where the first one to stop ends up losing as a consequence. The reason it rubs me the wrong way at the moment though is that Kamala and even leftist media accepted the election results for once and didn't continue the trend Hillary started. So i think that is actually a good opportunity to denormalize this whole lawfare garbage a little bit again if possible, and part of that is not making it an attractive strategy to appeal to the voterbase. Maybe that'll eventually give some Dems the option to openly denounce the crazies we are making fun of in this thread.
