It certainly goes both ways but it‘s not symetrical. The snowflake protection is quite the underlying tennet of progressism. More traditionnal people reject. If progressists say „fuck you for not caring about snowflakes“ it‘s coherent. If they say „you are a snowflake for not accepting skowflake protection“ it‘s a fallacy.

Besides, if you look far enough you will find that „snowflake“ and „woke“ were progressist buzzwords that were used positively. But it went too far so now it‘s used as an insult and progressists are trying to use it against the other side with „conservative snowflake lol“ or „what is even woke“. But it fools noone.
